This early morning seems a strange look about the mountains, the sky has an overcast light resulting with the mountains looking “moody.” After we watched the Johnny Cash movie “Walk the Line” and went out for a drink with our friend Bob afterwards, near midnight the crescent moon was translucently beautiful.
See what the mountains look like on a good day on the morning of May 2nd. Our backyard view is difficult to compete with for other city dwellers of Almaty. The many other distractions which line the panoramic view of mountains obliterate their view farther down the hill into the valley of Almaty. I am happy to live where we do in Kazakhstan.
